This is Marketing by the legend himself Seth Godin. In all honesty I read this book in order to improve the marketing of our website. The biggest eye opener of the book is that you shouldn’t strive to scale. Instead you should strive for the smallest viable number of clients. By focusing on the smallest viable number of clients you can maintain whatever gives you a competitive edge. Also, in terms of pricing I love his straightforward; “low prices just mean you are scared”. I think even political junkies and people working in governmentr have much to benefit as it also deals with organising tribes and storytelling. If there is anything that I didn’t like is that some chapters seem a bit out of place and because of this you sometimes feel you are reading a collection of essays instead of a book. All in all I liked it and I can recommend it.
